Sadness and Sorrow

I can't hold it in any longer.
I can't smile and act as if everything is ok.

Not when I just want to break down and cry.

And even that doesn't make me feel any better.

You'd think that someone who has such amazing friends and family wouldn't feel so lonely.
You'd think that someone who does well at school wouldn't feel so stupid.
You'd think that someone who seems so confident most of the time wouldn't feel so invisible.
You'd think that someone who has everything that they want wouldn't feel so empty.
They should be happy.
